Hans Christian Herlak, who played for the Hockey Club in København, won an Olympic silver medal in the 1920 Olympic hockey tournament. The Danish team finished in second place after being defeated by Britain and winning two clear victories against France and Belgium. Herlak was for many years headmaster of the Skovshoved School.
