Joe Antic played hockey for India at the 1960 Olympics, winning a silver medal. He also won a silver medal at the 1962 Asian Games. Antic played and worked for Western Railways, retiring from his job in the mid-1980s. He toured East Africa and Europe with the Western Railways team in the later 1950s. After retiring Antic worked as a coach, and was one of India’s coaches at the 1973 World Cup, and coached the Oman National Team at the 1982 Asian Games.
