Sadao Wakizaka was a Japanese hockey player from the Shiga prefectura, who attended the Tokyo University of Commerce (later Hitotsubashi University). He actually played as a right winger in at least three of the four games of the Japanese team at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. He died in action in World War II on Samar Island in the Philippines.
