Michael Pereira was a Sikh field hockey player who represented Kenya during the 1950s. In 1956 Pereira was part of the Kenyan squad that competed at the Melbourne Olympics, where he played in the group matches against Great Britain and Malaya. Three years later he was part of the Kenyan team that toured India, playing a match against the hosts in Mombasa. In August 2025 Pereira was one of several Kenyan hockey players that were awarded a posthumous Olympic Pin by The Hockey Museum in Surrey, England.
