Osbert de Rozario was a Singaporean hockey player who competed at the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. Of Portuguese descent but born in Selangor, Malaysia, during World War II he was in a Malaysian prison camp but escaped twice. He eventually moved to Singapore and became a Singaporean national. In Singapore de Rozario worked initially as an English teacher, then became a deputy superintendent of police, but eventually worked as chief of security for the United Overseas Bank. He and his wife moved to Perth, Australia in early 1980.
