Biography

Fencer Traudl Ebert was Austrian foil champion in 1959 and 1960. She was also Austrian champion in foil team with Fechtsaal Werdnik in 1953 and 1954, as well as with Union Fechtclub in 1955 and 1956. Ebert was selected for the 1960 Rome Olympics. In the individual foil event she finished eighth, but was eliminated with the Austrian foil team in the first round. At the 1957 World Championships she won a foil team bronze medal.
