During his brief career Abdulrahman Al-Naggar became the highest-ranked table tennis player in Qatar. Naggar represented both the Al Sadd Club and the national under-21 team while also studying a degree in sport management at Qatar University. In 2014 he was selected to compete at the Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, where he played in the singles and mixed team events. Early in 2019 he was registered to play at the World Table Tennis Championships in Budapest but a few days before the competition he was involved in a car crash in Doha.
