Reinhold Behr was a West German épée fencer who earned a silver medal with the épée team at the 1976 Montréal Olympics. Four years earlier in München the team was eliminated in the first round. Individually he failed to reach the third round at München and failed to reach the final pool at Montréal. At the World Championships Behr took two more team medals in 1973 (gold) and 1975 (silver), placing fifth individually in 1973. He was awarded the Silver Bay Leaf, the highest sports award in Germany.
Domestically Behr won national épée titles in 1969, 1971, and 1976. He was the brother of Matthias Behr and the brother-in-law of Matthias‘ wife Zita Funkenhauser. By profession, Behr was a teacher of economics, law and sports at a high school in Miltenberg.
