Biography
Fencer Gerhard Heer won the gold medal at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics with the West German épée team. He was subsequently awarded the Silver Bay Leaf, Germany’s highest sports award. The previous year he was a member of the silver winning-team at the World Championships. He later owned a photo shop at Tauberbischofsheim.
