Biography

Tapavicza was a Serbian who lived in the province of Vojvodina, which was still contained in the Hungarian part of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy at the time of the Athens Games. Tapavicza was a student in Budapest, and competed in tennis, wrestling and weightlifting at the Athens Games. He later became a construction engineer, and designed buildings in Serbia and Morocco.
