Biography

Tang Min played professional tennis for both China and Hong Kong during her career. Tang achieved a career-best singles ranking of #112 in the world in July 1995, and a doubles ranking of #210 in the world in August 1992. In the Fed Cup she represented China from 1988 to 1992 and Hong Kong from 1997 to 1998.

On the ITF Circuit Tang won six singles titles from March 1990 to March 1995 with her first victory coming in Valencia against Flora Perfetti. In doubles Tang won six ITF titles, with five of them coming with Li Fang as her partner, and her sixth title coming when she partnered Weng Tzu-Ting.

At the 1990 Asian Games Tang won bronze in the team event along with Chen Li, Li Fang, and Li Yanling. Tang and Li Fang competed in the doubles at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics with the duo reaching the second round.
