Dominique Blake was an alternate on the Jamaican 4x400 relay team at the 2012 London Olympics. Blake ran in college in the United States, running for Penn State University from which she graduated with a communications degree. Blake competed at the 2012 World Indoor Championships and won a gold medal in the 4x400 at the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games. In 2013 Blake was banned after a positive doping test for methylhexanamine, but she returned to competition in 2017.
In 2012, although she never competed, Blake was given a bronze medal for the Jamaican 4x400 relay team. For several years, the Jamaican Olympic Association tried to get her to return the medal, but was unsuccessful until June 2017, when she finally relinquished the medal.
