Roland Turian

Roland Turian began his fencing career with the Cercle des Armes de Lausanne around 1947. He was a member of the Lausanne Schaefer Cup winning sabre team, alongside Oswald Zappelli and the non-Olympians Férid Nafilian and Franco Tognetti. Along with Zappelli, he was selected for the national sabre team in the following year and competed at the London Olympic Games, although they did not advance past the first round. Turian continued to be active in fencing with CA Lausanne until 1950.
