Vladimír Heger was a Czechoslovakian basketball coach who led the national team at the 1972 and 1976 Olympic Games. He also led Czechoslovakia to their best international performance in 1983 when they finished fourth at the European Championships in France. In the 1980s Heger coached the men and women’s national teams of the Netherlands.
