Luis Montaño was a Colombian footballer. Montaño played more than 150 matches for Independiente Santa Fe, winning the domestic title in 1971 and 1975. Following good performances with Santa Fe, Montaño was called up to the Colombian national football team for the 1972 München Olympics. Montaño scored in Colombia’s 3–1 win against Ghana. After working as a physical trainer Montaño retired in 1975.
