José Francisco Reinoso was a member of the bronze medal winning team at the 1971 Pan American Games as well as of the silver medal winning team at the 1979 Pan American Games. He represented Cuba at nine World Cup qualifying matches. Domestically he played for FC Azucareros and Villa Clara. After retiring as a player, Reinoso was president of the Asociación de Fútbol de Cuba and a member of the Executive Committee of the Caribbean Futsal Association.
