The son of the international defender Guy Sénac, footballer Didier Senac signed his first professional contract at Racing Club Lens, where he played for 11 seasons, before moving to Girondins Bordeaux (1988-95), Toulouse (1995-96), and finally Créteil. After winning the gold medal at the 1984 Olympics, despite not playing in the final against Brazil, Senac won three full international caps with the French national team between 1984-87. He made his début in a 1-0 win over Bulgaria in a 1986 World Cup qualifier in Paris on 21 November 1984. After ending his playing career Senac returned to Lens where he got various jobs, including that of coach and supervisor.
