Jones Attuquayfeio was a Ghanian footballer who played for the national team from 1965-74 and helped them to victory at the 1965 African Nations Cup. A forward, in his club career he played for Accra Standfast FC (1962-63), Ghana Republicans FC (1963-65), and Great Olympics from 1966-74. Attuquayfeio later turned to coaching and was better known for his work as a coach. He managed over a dozen teams from 1974-2009, including the Benin (2003-04) and Ghana (2006-09) national teams. In 2000 Attuquayfeio was named African Coach of the Year after he led Accra Hearts of Oak to the African Champions League title.
