Zoltán Blum joined FTC (Ferencváros) at the age of 13 and played with them until 1928. He played 390 games for Ferencváros, scored five goals, and won four championship and three cup titles. Between 1912-25 he played for the national team 38 times, and scored one goal. He was a member of the 1912 Olympic team. Between 1930-37, Blum was head coach of Ferencváros for 351 games which, as at 2018, was still a club record. During his time in charge, they won two league titles and two national cups. Their league title in 1931/32 is legendary in Hungarian football, as they went through the season with a 100% record, winning all 22 of their matches and scoring 105 goals with just 18 conceded. Blum finished his coaching career in UTA Arad, Romania, where he also won the championship.
