Emanuela Zardo was a Swiss tennis player who played professionally from 1986 to 1998. Zardo achieved a career-best singles ranking of #27 in the world in May 1991, and a doubles ranking of #159 in the world in January 1994. She played on Switzerland’s Fed Cup team from 1987 to 1996.
Zardo won 10 singles titles on the ITF Circuit from August 1987 to October 1997. She also reached two ITF doubles finals but finished as the runner-up on both occasions. On the WTA Tour she won just one singles title when she beat Austria’s Petra Ritter in straight sets at the 1991 Ilva Trophy in Italy. Zardo competed in the singles and doubles at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, reaching the second round in the latter with Manuela Maleeva-Fragnière.
