Biography

Mohammad Hossein Khodaparast was an Iranian football forward who played for the national team. Iran played in its first major international football tournament when they qualified for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. Khodaparast only played in one match at the Tokyo Games in their 4–0 defeat to the Unified Team of Germany. There is some debate if he did play at the Olympics with the FIFA website stating that Gholam Hussain Nourian took part in the match instead of Khodaparast. All other sources, however, list Khodaparast in the Iranian line-up for the fixture. His career was rather short, with him retiring from football shortly after the Olympics.
