Israeli football goalkeeper Chaim Levin had a lengthy domestic career, most notably with Maccabi Tel Aviv in the 1960s. Levin began his career with Hapoel Petah Tikva in 1957 before joining Maccabi Haifa in 1957. After three seasons he then spent a decade with Maccabi Tel Aviv where he won the league title in the 1966–68 season, which was played over two years in a bid to combat corruption. With the team Levin also won the State Cup (1963–64, 1964–65, 1966–67), the Asian Club Championship (1968–69), and the Israeli Supercup (1964–65, 1967–68). In 1965 he was named as the Israeli Footballer of the Year. He played for several other teams during the 1970s before retiring in 1976 whilst at Hapoel Jerusalem.
From 1963 to 1969 Levin played in 22 matches for the Israel national football team. In 1964 he was part of the Israeli squad that won the AFC Asian Cup, although only four teams took part in the tournament. Four years later, Israel finished third at the 1968 AFC Asian Cup in Iran and joint-fifth at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. After his playing career Levin worked as a goalkeeper coach for Maccabi Haifa throughout the 1980s.
