Biography

Olle Andersson was from Gävle and played doubles outdoors at the 1912 Olympics. He later became Swedish indoor champion in singles in 1917, and in indoor doubles in 1922 and 1925. He was also Swedish outdoor champion in mixed doubles in 1922. In 1918 he was ranked #2 in Sweden in singles. He was noted to be somewhat small and heavy, with a clever half-volley and tremendous wrist power. Andersson competed against Germany in an international in 1922.
