Luciano Magistrelli was a forward who made 125 appearances in Serie A for Atalanta Bergamasca , also playing for several other clubs, and competing at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Roma. Born in Bareggio, Magistrelli began playing youth football with nearby AC Milan. He joined Milano’s senior side, but made his début with Treviso FBC in Serie D. In 1960, Magistrelli joined Atalanta Bergamasca and helped the club win the 1962–63 Coppa Italia. He also played for Triestina, during which time he competed at the 1960 Roma Olympics, where he played only one match. He later played for US Alessandria before ending his playing career back at Treviso. Magistrelli began his coaching career with Atalanta’s youth players, then managed Treviso, Verbania, Virescit Boccaleone and SPAL. He died of a heart attack in December 2011 at the age of 73.
