Biography

Gilberto Noletti, a defender, played a total of 89 matches, 75 with AC Milano and 14 with FC Juventus, from 1959-67 in Italian Serie A, scoring three goals. His first match in Serie A was in the match AC Milano vs. SPAL on 29 May 1960, and three months later he was on the Italian Olympic team for the Games in Roma. He played only the first match of the Olympic tournament against Taiwan. With the Italian youth teams Noletti won two Mediterranean Games titles, in 1959 in Beirut (2-1 against Turkey in the final) and in 1963 in Napoli (3-0 against Turkey in the final) while with AC Milano Noletti won the 1967 Coppa Italia against Padova.
