Pasquale Domenico Rocco started his career with the Internazionale youth team, and in 1988/89 season (when they won the Italian League title), he made his one and only Serie A appearance for them. In December 1988, he made his only ever appearance in the UEFA Cup, as a 55th minute substitute against Bayern München. Rocco only played 27 Serie A matches between 1989-99. In addition to his solitary game for Inter, he played for Cagliari (14 matches) and Perugia (12). Rocco played for Italy under-21s three times. The first was in a friendly against Qatar just before the 1992 Olympics, and his other two appearances, against Kuwait and Spain, where at the Barcelona Games.
After retiring as a player, Rocco worked as assistant coach with many clubs, including Calcio Catania, Perugia Calcio, Gubbio, Bari, Cesena and in 2018 joined the Cyprus team, Apoel Nicosia.
