Abdel Kader Morchid started playing as a junior with Athletic Moghreb de Rabat in 1955, but was soon recruited by Stade Marocain. After competing through the 1960s, Morchid turned to coaching, leading Stade Marocain, Rabat Youssoufia, Itihad Zemmouri Kheisset, Sale, and Credit Agricole. He was later President of AASM (l’Amicale des anciens du Stade Marocain).
