Biography

Alfredo Hernández began his domestic football career in Mexico in the late 1960s as a reserve player before joining the senior team of Puebla FC in 1972. That same year Hernández was named in Mexico’s squad for the football tournament at the München Olympics, playing in two matches in the second round-robin stage of the competition. After the Olympics he remained at Puebla FC until 1977, before playing one season each at Atlante F.C. and Querétaro F.C.
