Biography

A right-wing defender, Jeu van Bun played for Maastricht side MVV for 17 seasons. Originally an amateur, Van Bun turned pro in 1954 when many of the top Dutch teams became professional. In the final two years of his career, he represented Willem II (Tilburg-1960/61) and Sparta (Rotterdam-1961/62). As an amateur, Van Bun played in 11 international matches between 1947 and 1949, which included the two matches the Netherlands played at the 1948 Olympics. After his playing career, Jeu van Bun for many years coached various amateur teams in the province of Limburg.
