Biography

Jan van der Sluis, a forward playing for Rotterdam team VOC, only appeared in a single international match, for the 1912 Olympic bronze medal. He did score twice in that match, the consolation final against Finland.

Van der Sluis was a ship’s agent and director of the J. van der Sluis shipping company. In 1917 he married Cornelia Maria Scriwanek.
