Slovak footballer Miroslav Kráľ played for MŠK Žilina for eight seasons from 1966 to 1975, playing in 170 matches and scoring 27 goals. Kráľ finished his career with Spartak ŠK Dubnica, playing with them for the 1975–76 season. In 1968 he played in four matches for the Czechoslovakia national team, including three matches at the Mexico City Olympics. After his playing career Kráľ turned to coaching, with a stint with his former club Žilina in the 1990s, followed by working at the Slovak Football Association in the education of coaches. His son Radoslav was also a footballer, with him representing Slovakia at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
