Emanuil Gyaurov played basketball for Bulgaria at the 1960 Roma Olympics. He was also on the national team at the 1955 European Championships. Gyaurov won Bulgarian championships in 1955 with Udarnik Sofia and in 1961, 1963, and 1964 with Lokomotiv Sofia, and won the Bulgarian Cup in 1966 with Lokomotiv.
