Biography
Polish-born gymnast Annette Potempa finished ninth with the reunified German team at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. In the individual all-around she came 74th and did not reach an apparatus final. Domestically, she never won a national title.
Potempa first trained as a physiotherapist but later completed music and ballet training and became an actress in some well-known musicals like Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease, Jedermann, Jungle Book, West Side Story, and Cabaret, among others. She also occasionally acted as a voice actor and played in theatre productions such as Cyrano de Bergerac, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and others.
