In the years after the war Italian gymnast Elisabetta Durelli represented US Sestri Ponente in Genova. In 1952 Durelli was part of the Italian gymnastics team that competed at the Helsinki Olympics. She finished sixth in the team event, with her best individual performance coming in the vault, placing 40th out of the 134 participants.
