Biography
Maja Veršeč was a Croatian gymnast. Veršeč was originally scheduled to be part of Yugoslavia’s team for the all-round event at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. However, Veršeč was forced to withdraw from the competition due to illness and was replaced by Ančka Kržanova. Yugoslavia went on to finish in fourth place.
