J. Harris

J. Harris was one of nine members of the Birmingham and District Amateur Gymnastics Association to compete at the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics. Unfortunately, the Great Britain team finished fifth and last. Harris and his fellow Birmingham members were honoured by the Birmingham Association with medallions and certificates to commemorate their Olympic selection, but they did not receive them until 1924, because of difficulties after World War I when three consecutive AGMs of the Association were cancelled.
