Eugene Dolman was a member of the Devon and Somerset Wanderers at the time of the 1900 Paris Olympics. He never played, however, in the match against the Union des Sociétés Français de Sports Athletiques. By profession Dolman was an accountant and insurance inspector. He served in World War I with the Royal Navy between 1914-16, having previously served in the Royal Garrison Artillery.
