Biography

Handball goalkeeper Slavica Djukić was born in Serbia but moved to Austria during the Bosnian War. She participated at the 1984 Los Angeles and 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics, representing Yugoslavia, and at Barcelona in 1992 represented Austria. At the 1984 Games Djukić won the gold medal and in 1988 and 1992 the team placed fourth and fifth respectively.
