Throughout the 1960s and 1970s Abdel Aziz Zaibi played handball for Club Africain in Tunis. His consistent performances earned Zaibi a place on the Tunisian national team, with him competing at the 1972 München Olympics. At the Games he played in three matches and scored a goal in the game against Denmark in the classification round. Following his playing career Zaibi worked as a coach, with him taking charge of the women’s national team.
