Petar Fajfrić had a very long career, playing exclusively for handball clubs in Yugoslavia. He started with Zemun’s Mladost, and later played for Crvena Zvezda, Dinamo Pancevo, Crvenka, and Metaloplastika. Fajfrić was a left winger who competed at the 1972 München Olympics and won bronze medals at the 1970 and 1974 World Championships.
Fajfrić later became a coach with Metaloplastika and also coached the women for Medicinar. In 2012 he was named to the Medicinar management board. Fajfrić was trained as an agronomy engineer.
