Johann Leo was an Austrian lightweight judoka who participated in the 1980 Moskva (Moscow) Olympics. He was eliminated in his first round bout against the East German Karl-Heinz Lehmann. Leo won the gold medal at the German Open at München in 1979 and therefore qualified for the Moskva Games. At Austrian nationals, he added three silvers and five bronzes. Leo later became coach at his home club JCV Kufstein.
