Henry Perry won the 1903 and 1904 ABA bantamweight titles, and after struggling to maintain the weight, fought as a featherweight. However, for the 1908 London Olympics, he managed to make the 52.6 kg (8st 4lb) bantamweight limit, but lost on a split decision to Wally Webb in his first bout. Perry fought for the ABA featherweight title in 1913, ten years after capturing his first title.
