Bernd Englmeier was an East German light-flyweight boxer, who lost his second round bout against Mexican Alberto Morales at the 1968 Olympics, when the referee stopped the contest in the first round. In the previous round, Englmeier easily beat Monolo Vicera from the Philippines with a 5-0 decision. Englmeier never won a national title.
