Austrian rower Ferdinand Rabeder was a sculler who participated in the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. He failed to reach the final and was eliminated in the repêchage. At the 1957 European Championships he finished an unfortunate fourth, and was fifth in 1955, 1956 and 1958. Rabeder’s greatest moment came in 1955 when he won the Rotsee race at Luzern.
