German light-heavyweight boxer Karl Kistner from Nürnberg lost his quarter-final bout at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics against Harry Siljander from Finland by a 2-1 decision. The following year he won his only national title, but at heavyweight. Nothing else is known about his life.
