Yves Oger

Yves Oger was a French rower who was part of the national eight crew during the early 1970s. In 1972 Oger completed his military service and was part of the team that won in the event at the Military World Championships. This result earned him a place in the boat at the München Olympics. At the Games, however, the French team were well beaten in their heat, before being eliminated in the repêchage. Three years later Oger had retired as a competitive rower, but later worked as a coach.
