Biography
East German rower Katrin Schröder partnered Kerstin Spittler in the coxless pairs at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and finished fourth. She won gold medals with the eights at the Youth World Championships in 1984 and 1985. In 1988 and 1989, Schröder won the East German national eights title, and also the silver medal at the 1989 Worlds.
