German rower Kathleen Naser was a crew member of the eights at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics that finishede eighth. In 1999, she was World Championships runner-up in the coxless pairs partnering Elke Hipler. Domestically, Naser won the national title with the eights in 1996 and 1998-99, the coxless pairs with non-Olympian Gerte John in 1997, with Hipler in 1999, and the coxless fours in 1998.
