Enzo Bartolini was a member of the famed Scarronzoni crew who competed during the 1930s and 40s. They were all Livorno dockworkers. After winning the 1932 Olympic silver medal in the eights, the crew from Unione Canottieri Livornesi won gold at the 1933 European Championships. They later won a bronze medal at the 1938 Europeans. Bartolini was Italian Champion with the eights in 1935-36 and 1939-40.
