Biography
Ugo Pifferi competed in single sculls at the 1952 Helsinki Games. In the early 1950s the Italian representative in this event was usually Silvio Bergamini but in Finland he raced the double sculls. Pifferi, who never managed to win a national title, was eliminated at the Games in the repêchage of the first round. This was the only major international tournament in his sporting career.
